Two Ministries - United as One!

MUMs Transportation

Basically, you can't go to work if you can't get there! And, it's almost impossible to come out of poverty if you don't have an income. Our volunteers take our passengers to work and back, day after day, week after week, month after month! Our passengers can keep food on the table, a roof over their heads, and the utility bills paid!!

MUMs Garage

We receive donated vehicles from local citizens, safety check and repair them, then turn them over to passengers or to folks referred to us by churches and social service agencies. We also provide three months liability insurance, tags and registration, and a full tank of gas! Giving our friends keys to a better future!!

How Does MUMs Work?

How can we give free rides?

All of our volunteer drivers drive their own cars, trucks, or vans. They all provide their own gas!

Who are our drivers?

We enlist our drivers from the Christian Congregations of Maury County. Many Churches are currently providing volunteer drivers! We are ALWAYS looking for more!! We consider our volunteer drivers to be "Home Missionaries" in Maury County.

What do we require of our drivers?

Responsible individuals, recommended by local Church Pastor, Current valid drivers' license, Current car insurance. If you are interested in driving to help the needy call 931-626-MUMS today!

Stories of Transformation

12 Days of Christmas Stories

For a number of years, at Christmas time, we published the "12 Days of Christmas" in booklet form and distributed them to many church congregations in Maury County!

We are happy to present "The Best of 12 Days."

As always our purpose is to introduce you to some of the folks in our community who find themselves in need, and some folks who are trying to help. Out of respect for their situations we do not mention their real names, unless they have given us permission to do so. But, be assured, these are REAL PEOPLE - they are LOCAL PEOPLE - and, their stories ARE TRUE.

We hope that their stories will be a blessing to you, and we hope that reading them will encourage you to pray for these local friends and for their needs. Your prayers for them will make a difference in their Holiday Season and all through the years to come! Blessings to you!
